TOTEM Sign System
Our sign system TOTEM is designed for production of larger freestanding signs, for both indoor and outdoor signage. The grooved side extrusions support full-sign-size aluminum sheets or custom size panel rows. TOTEM signs can be built as elevated signs on two legs, or full-length pylon signs with supporting base plate or ground casted. The system includes side extrusions in two sizes, 95 mm and 56 mm in depth, for construction of curved or flat signs in custom heights up to 20 feet.
When more frequent information update is required a flat TOTEM construction can be integrated with our sign systems SLIM and CONVEXA, to produce freestanding signs with flat or curved sign rows supporting replaceable plastic inserts.
TOTEM is a sustainable choice for wayfinding, directory and information signs in public places, office spaces, workplaces or any bigger indoor or outdoor locations.

A tale of two sides!
Grooved (insert) Side
One side is railed on the top and bottom with a 1.5 mm (1/16″) groove creating a track where you can utilize removable inserts. Inserts can be made of paper, plastic, aluminum, tactile/braille, or any other suitable material of your choice. Along with the double sided extrusions we sell removable plastic lens covers that protect paper inserts, or you can even apply text or graphics directly to our plastic lens covers if you choose.
Flat (smooth) Side
The other side of our double-sided extrusions (DSE) are flat (smooth) and are perfect for applying text or graphics directly to, using vinyl, paint, or whatever other method you can dream up. Often used as a header or footer row in our directory signage, the flat side makes a great presentation and allows you to mix the way you use the double-sided extrusions giving you tremendous options as sign makers for your sign shop.
